HETAS is the official body recognised by the government to promote the safe and efficient use of solid fuels, biomass and related technology – and this HETAS General Leaflet is an introduction for the consumer.

The General Leaflet explains about HETAS, purchasing from an approved retailer, using a registered installer, building regulations and the fuel to use. It also features the range of HETAS Advice Leaflets which offer more detailed and specific information to the consumer on all aspects of solid fuel and biomass use, regulation and safety.
